I have no idea why Texas refuses to throw to Tariq Black.

Most entertaining slot of early afternoon college football games that I can remember.
- A&M upsetting Florida. Great game.
- Missouri holding off LSU... fun end to the game from what I saw.
- Texas vs Oklahoma ridiculousness.
College football at it's finest.
Now will the later games hold up? Nah..... impossible. Only if Bama loses OR Miami vs Clemson is actually competitive.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

I think the problem was they blew the play dead before anyone gained control of the lose ball. It was unclear to me what specifically they were reviewing. Just making sure that Nix actually muffed the snap to enforce the intentional grounding call?

Once the whistle blows their hands are tied, right? You can’t assume Arkansas would have recovered the fumble. The screw-up was blowing the whistle before the play ended. Once that occurred, the review process is moot. I still don’t know what they were reviewing.

Yea, they screwed up any real fix to the problem when they killed the play. What they really had was a muffed snap, and a backward pass, which should have been treated as a fumble, but instead they killed the play, and treated it as an incomplete forward pass, which is what Auburn wanted to begin with. So the officials mistake helped Auburn to the win.
Its too bad, because Arkansas played quite a ballgame. They are one of the big surprises in the SEC this year, IMO."in order to lead America you must love America"
