College bars: Houndstooth, Gallette’s, Egan’s:
Nice upscale meal out, R. Davidson’s Chophouse (steak) or Chuck’s (fish). Both probably need reservations. I would have said Evangeline's, but they’re closed Sun/Mon.

Ribs: Archibald’s or Dreamland. Both are kinda dives, but fairly famous. Keith Jackson and Frank Broyle’s used to take part of every game broadcast from Tuscaloosa and talk about Dreamland.

And the Embassy Suites is value added with the free booze/snacks in the evening at manager’s reception and the free breakfast in the morning.
