Rumor is Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr will fight an exhibition match. Tyson has been training and wants to get back in the game even at 54 and I would be all up into that.

September 12, 8 rounds, its amazing how people think his (Tyson) work outs would transfer to a real fight. Yes he looks very good punching a bag, and would knock out any mortal in 10 seconds, but if a pro (Jones) makes him miss for I would say 2 rounds Iron Mike could embarrass himself. Speed is the first thing you lose as a boxer. Still, worth watching.

Well, Jones is/was retired, too. Albeit not for nearly as long. And most of Jones’ last 10 fights were complete tomato cans.
Tyson has better power, but Jones is a better boxer. It will be interesting."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

Tyson In his prime would have a chance against any heavyweight. His viciousness and power were outstanding. The way he would duck under the jab and pound the ribs/liver was brutal."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

I just hope the both of them have a series of cardiac tests performed by reputable cardiology specialists to make sure they're up to going 8 rounds of boxing at their age.
Having just endured a series of tests myself, I can attest its best to know when something may be lurking. The last thing I'd want to see is either of these men have a cardiac event on live television."in order to lead America you must love America"
