  • I can't believe Tua is gonna come back. Goddammit.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • I don't know that he is. Press conference at 11. I think he is leaning to, but he's still projected as a top 10 pick. Alex Leatherwood and Dylan Moses is great, though. Looks like we will lose 3 or 4 of the all-everything WRs, though.

If Najee stays (he should) and Josh McMillon comes back for a 6th year (it's already approved and he should too), we will be pretty good.

        • We were 11-2 this year and it was a wildly disappointing season. The bar is high. Maybe too high.

          • Beating Michigan to end the season is no big deal. I mean, its not like beating Dabo, .. and stuff.

            Just ask OSU.

            • If we're not playing for championship, or at the very least in one of the NY6 bowls, it's a pretty disappointing season.

The Citrus was probably the best of the also-rans, but meh.

                  • He is projected as a top 15 pick. Gotta get guaranteed money.

                    • Devonta Smith coming back. Him and Waddle will be formidable. I know Jeudy and Ruggs are gone, so this is big news. Also, Josh McMillon is coming back. Received his 6th year AND his degree in mechanical engineering.

If Najee comes back, we will be in very good shape.

                        • Tua must have asked for a raise. Nick practically snarled back that he was damaged goods.

                          Shame, really

                          • Just makes me happy with these key juniors returning. If we can keep from having another nightmare injury season, we will be back in the CFP - just as God (Coach Bryant) intended.

                            • Although it's bitter sweet. To have a generational talent QB in Tua throwing to Jerry Jeudy (best route runner) along with Ruggs (the fastest WR in college ball), Devonta (best hands), and Waddle (most elusive) and to end up at some mid tier bowl kinda sucks.

The old adage about defense winning championships might be true. Losing 7 starters off the D was killer. Then losing Trey Sanders, Miller Forristall, Tua, and our kicker off the offense was crushing. Made us a 2-loss suckbutt playing in Disney World.
