  • WTF are you talking about, linesmen? The SEC does not cater or bend to Nick's wants. In fact, it has been just the opposite. Most recently, he stood on his head and pleaded (for the third time) that we go to 9 conference games. Conference rules and bylaws are changed by a simple majority vote. Saban was outvoted 13-1. The 13 other member institutions are not really looking to rubber stamp Saban's ideas. Not sure if you were trying to be funny, but it's just an extremely uninformed take.

    • Anyway, the game was exactly as I predicted. Shocking.

      • Well, in outcome. The 99-yard lucky ass pick 6 was, obviously, the difference. I was a little surprised that Auburn did as much on offense as they did and a little surprised that Alabama did as much on offense as they did. That was really Alabama's game. If you play that out 10 times they win 7 (or more).

        • Pick sixes are a part of of it. Auburn got two. It's what happens with a back-up QB trying to force passes and be a some kinda ersatz Tua. I think Auburn was the better team. We fought hard and the 18 true freshmen we had in played over their heads and gave us a chance. Now on to the Citrus Bowl or whatever. Just a nightmare season. Glad it's coming to a close. Hopefully, we can get some people ready and have a chance to go 11-2.

          • You'll end up in a NY6 game. If Georgia wins you'll end up in New Orleans. If the don't then maybe the Cotton? Against a G5 team.

            • Honestly, would rather the Citrus over the Cotton. Dallas is a crappy city and I hate the idea of playing a G5 opponent. I guess that's a fitting end to a shitty season, though.

                • I would prefer the Citrus over the Cotton-G5 matchup, too. Especially if DSL was in downtown Fort Worth.

                  • I have been to DFW 15 or 20 times for games and conferences. So, I have done the FtW "cattle drives" and tourist saloons and whatnot already. Don't care to do it again.

Dallas is a worse version of Atlanta. It just has more dust and a ton of goobers wearing cowboy hats, boots, and bolo ties.

                    • Look at the coastal elites sneering at touristy saloons and bolo ties.

Quick, DSL, make sure your car isn't leaking carbon monoxide into your trailer.

                        • The ONE good thing about Dallas is they have In-N-Out burgers. The rest? Meh.

                              • By my calculations, Alabama played a bunch of tomato cans save two teams and they lost to both. Fitting end to a season for an over rated team from a perpetually over rated conference.

Of course, Gary Danielson thinks they still deserve to be in the playoff...
