  • Alabama basketball: we have jelled some and are now 15-8 (6-4 in the SEC). RPI 33, SOS 22.

The thing is we had two early buzzer beater home losses where we gave up big leads to get the L against GaState and TAMU. We had no business losing either game and *should* be 17-6 (7-3) heading into a final stretch of 8 games where we (again) *should* be no worse than 4-4 (and probably 5-3). At 22-9 we would be a slam dunk for the tourney and depending on how things fell in the SEC tourney, a 5 or 6 seed.

As it is, we will go 4-4 or so to finish and if we lose the 1st or 2nd round of the SEC tourney we will be relegated to the NIT. It's just a shame and it's unacceptable.

                      • Correct. It is as if the game was never played.

                            • I didn't know it was possible that a loss could be turned into a win that way. Well then, on behalf of the true NCAA 2013 Tournament Champions, I hope the NCAA fucks off and dies even faster. Had a chance to correct its error and didn't. It should die the most violent death possible.

                              • They stopped the result reversal forfeitures in1996. Or so I was told.
