Since Saban has been at Alabama, we have had neutral site kickoff games vs Clemson, VaTech x 2, Michigan, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Southern Cal, and Florida State, and Non Con road games @Penn State, @Florida State (Jacksonville), and @Duke (heh).

Alabama's schedule for 2018 is unspeakably hard.
BTW, The Nick ought to be feeling really good about the fact that the protected East "rivals" for Bama and Auburn are the Vals and Georgia, respectively.
I also wonder how much longer the SEC will stay at 8 conference games? I mean, I get it -- pussying up the schedule is good business and all -- but c'mon. My guess? The SEC will do it until the NCAA says it has to be 9.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?

Haha. First the road games now this. You guys are getting in midseason SEC envy form in August. Congrats!
This year hasn't turned out to be that exciting. Louisville isn't a marquee opponent without Lamar Jackson. But most years Bama's SOS is good. And the game is in Florida. Nick uses this as a recruiting trip whether we play in Georgia, Florida, Texas, wherever.
Of course the protected East rival for Bama is Tennessee. They are our number one rival in the entire conference going back to the 1920's. Third Saturday in October and all. And even with all their troubles over the last 10-15 years, they still have more wins and a better win% than Georgia, LSU, Florida and every SEC team not named Alabama. Besides, with Georgia's resurrgence, it just means we now get to play them most years, too, in Atlanta.
The Nick has pushed for 9 conference games for years. And the NCAA will never mandate it. It will be an SEC directive from the commish. When? Who knows. Some coaches push back due to fear and some ADs push back because of money. It needs to happen, though.Last edited by AlabamAlum; August 10, 2018, 07:17 AM."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln

We are Ala-Fuckin-Bama. Any game we are in is Big Time. Capital B. Capital T. It's been a while since we were sentenced to a total shit bowl. 2007, in fact.
But yes, Alabama vs Louisville in Orlando in a kickoff game will be bigger than Alabama-Louisville week 3 or whatever in Tuscaloosa."The problem with quotes on the Internet is that it is sometimes hard to verify their authenticity." -Abraham Lincoln
