They just cut away to them again and there is a whole panel shilling. I have it tied. Easily. Wonder if they have the same bonus as Danielson if Ohio State gets in?

Danielson ... that's kind of what happens when your scope of college football is so narrow. Shapes how you perceive the big picture.
I doubt Danielson watches his alma mater on Saturdays, so he had to find a new team to root for in his southern home.
That said, Joel Klatt isn't a fan of the SEC like others in the mainstream media.
And the shilling is understandable. Danielson and CBS have the SEC contract. Him not being pro SEC would go over at the league office as well as Wannstedt and this crew not being pro B1G. It's a shame, but it's a business.

Follow the money. Follow the money. These guys all know where their bread is buttered.

Danielson was embarrassing himself. "Auburn losing proves Bama belongs", something along those lines. Dude's been a more reliable SEC ball-washer than even Finebaum over the years. AA's posts defending his honor are cringeworthy and shocking.
Also UNLV beat Fresno State. Ergo, therefore, vis a vis...OSU > Alabama.
I just watched Alabam"Alum"'s personal hero Booger McFarland defend MERCER. Literally arguing that Mercer was better than teams on OSU's schedule. I mean, come the fuck on. Talk about fighting from the low ground. Alabama's resume loses. Don't try to defend it. Just keep saying you've watched film. At least that's defensible insofar as any subjective preference is.
Alabam"Alum" ought to be ashamed. ASHAMED of Brother Booger's performance.

Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
Danielson shilling is the most galling because when the big ten was involved he said it was a must that the team be a conference champ. When it is SEC, he forgets that hard and fast rule.
Yes Booger McFarland is correct, Mercer is a tough foe! Alabama should be proud of scheduling such a Goliath tbis late in the year.
I would like to hear someone point out that even Alabama's two best wins weren't that impressive in outcome. I'm still not sure how they won in regulation at Starkvegas. And the LSU game, though never really in doubt b/c LSU's offense is poop, was a quagmire.
Stick to the "eye test." Concede the resume.

It would be a no-brainer except Ohio State got skull-dragged across the field by 31 points to an unranked team in November. That was a horrible loss. For context, Alabama hasn't lost to an unranked team in over 10 years and we have never lost to an unranked team by 30 or more (AP or UPI).
As it is, we won't get in, and as we established before that no team left out has a legit beef. I plan to stick to that. And I can cry about missing 4 LBers all I want, but the Auburn game was still winnable. We were out coached, out played, and out hit in the 3rd and 4th quarter and there is no excuse.
Say, didn't we make a bet on this? If Ohio State beat Wiscy, you were betting that Bama got in? User pics with 2:1 odds ?
