  • Bert is 10-23 in the SEC. Jesus, that's worse than I thought.

    • vandy beating us was a fluke--2 tds called back on BS or it would have been ksu 21 7 over vandy
I knew bama would annihilate them
and yeah there is no dominant team cept bama
but Clemson/OU/TCU/Georgia/michigan are your other contenders

USC/Penn state/Wisconcin are pretenders and all should have losses

auburn wont get in with 2 losses even if it is to #1 and #2

      • It's been a steep fall for the SEC from the 2006-2012 heyday of Bama PLUS several more elites each season. The Les Miles LSU teams. The Urban Meyer Florida teams. The sCam Newton Auburn team.

        Sabah stands alone now.

I know there's data out there that will support my view. At this point, I don't know the pecking order with any certainty and I'd wait until mid-October or so before trying to figure it out.

                    Michigan? No.

At some point, M will play a team that has a good OL, good RBs and a good QB. That could be PSU or any number of teams that might develop a bit including Wisky, even IU (all of them on the road for M).

That means M is going to have to score more than 30, in a hostile environment, against a good O that they will certainly face.

So far, it has demonstrated beyond any doubt, that they have a good deal of trouble doing that.

                    • And while the SEC is not to the level they were, they still have a winning record from 2012-present vs every other conference.

While, we can argue it borders on anecdotal due to not enough data - not everyone has played everyone else - it's all we have. I feel it's obvious the SEC isn't as good as it was, but that doesn't mean it's bad.

What can we find the inter-conference P5 records by season?

                              • It's too small for me to read it and frankly, at present, I don't give a shit either.

                                Maybe in late October.

But thanks for trying to puff-up the SEC.... SEC.....SEC!!!
