Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

    • Riley is doing an OK job. He's somewhere between The Nick and Brady Hoke. Probably closer to the Hoke. Nice guy. Why he was hired. Bo is a prick. Much like me.

      Now YOU shaddup.

          • Alabama has used former NFL players on its scout team, even ones who have played or are playing in the NFL.

Former All-American running back Trent Richardson played the role of Leonard Fournette to help prepare Nick Saban’s team for LSU. Blake Sims, the quarterback for the Tide in 2014 when they lost to Ohio State, practiced with the Alabama this season as well.

Urban Meyer was definitely caught off guard when he heard this news.

            • Meh. It doesn't help that much. Its used more as a tribute to former players who miss it, than anything.

              • Seemed to be a big deal to UFM, then again you know more than him.

                • A big deal? It looked like he was kidding.

                  • Im not sure if it helps much or not truthfully. Though I do think we will hear more about this, and its not a 'thing' till Jim Harbaugh speaks on it.

                    • The point is, did having Trent imitate Fournette or John Parker Wilson portray Etling (lmao) or Blake Sims act like Trevor Knight (heh) help Bama substantively?

Probably not. It was a nice homecoming, though. A few other teams have done it. It's ....nice. Perhaps more of a distraction than actual help, but whatev. Former players as guest scout team participants is the satellite camp of weekly practice. It gets our name in the papers, not much else.

                        • UFM is insane. Great coach, though.
