The Citrus is the 1st SEC bowl after the CFP. It is negotiated between the SEC office and the Citrus Bowl committee. This is a key point for any bowl game excluding the playoff games. You have to be very mindful of the opt outs. A majority of the teams will be unrecognizable when compared to the regular season.Originally posted by AlabamAlum View Post
It makes betting and bowl picks tricky, but obviously my simple minded logic worked out…
- Pay attention to opt outs.
- Check weather conditions. Example: A team with a mobile QB has an advantage in the rain. BC vs SMU 2023
- Make sure a team doesn’t have the flu prior to kickoff. Example: Troy last season.
