SMU doesn’t do well in poor weather conditions and better pray it’s only slightly cold. I learned that last year as they produced an all-time stinker vs Boston College in the rain. A very finesse style team that can be compared to the Miami Dolphins of the NFL IMHO.

If Ohio State clears their path for a championship, that would be REALLY impressive.

I actually agree with the first sentence. I wouldn't want Alabama to forfeit, but I get the gist of this thought. Its a consolation/exhibition game that really does nothing more than provide a network with a quasi-football game with a bunch of starters gone, and nothing more on the line than "pride".

Let the freaking gays take care of "pride". Football games should mean something. This one will not.

I would have thought that Alabama would have been the top pick of all the remaining bowls, and be set up in the most attractive matchup possible. They were the first one out. I'd think that a Alabama v Miami FL game would be more attractive than putting them up against Michigan.
