  • Maybe. Depending on how it shakes out the 2s might be scarier than the 1s. Either way we'll have to pull an upset in rd 2.

    • It does seem like unless they take over the conference tournament a #6 is out of the question.

      • But conference tournament win is certainly not out of the question. That's our best shot for a successful season.

Major coaching fuck-up on the 1 and 1 "lane violation"?

Back before players had to stay outside the arc, it was not uncommon to see a guy step into a spot on the lane after the shooter had the ball and have it called.

I have never seen what happened there. That was just a giant brain fart and was unfortunately the correct call

              • Michigan has more talent than Nebraska, and the Cornhuskers are sputtering. Win that game, and the NCAA berth is comfortable. Lose it, and U-M heads to the Big Ten tournament at 19-12. That’ll feel like last year, which was loaded with pressure.
                - Snyder (Free Press)

Lose to Nebraska and they'll be 2-9 on the road. 2-9.

                  • I asked earlier that if UM loses to Nebraska, if we'd need to win one, if not two in the Big Ten tournament.

                    You said no.

The guy who covers them for a living seems to think otherwise.

                    • Frankly I can't even believe I'm sitting here discussing the possibility that this team could quite very possibly end the season with a 2-9 road record.

                      Unbelievable.

Rutgers has more road W's than Michigan. Lmao!! Rutgers!

                      • Good thing the NCAA tournament isn't played on the road then

Michigan is in. You need to accept that and move on with your life.
