  • He isn't leaving but if some team offers 15 million a year, that will be tempting. Realistically do you know what the difference is between 7 million a year and 15 million a year? It is an astounding 8 million a year .

      • The thing to me is, how would an extra $8M impact Harbaugh? Honestly, he makes $7M now, drinks milk and buys pants at Wal-Mart. And those eyes glasses he wears came off the bottom shelf of the discount aisle at LensCrafters.

He doesn't strike me as the type that wants to wear Armani, have a different Rolex for each day, and take his personal jet to Paris to dine on snails and foie gras at a Michelin-starred Parisian restaurant.

        • Correct.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

          • All that is true, but he did come to Michigan for a pretty hefty sum. Sometimes it is done just to be the highest paid whatever.

            • He wants his kids to grow up in the midwest. His parents moved to AA. He has the Michigan job as long as he wants it. He's not going anywhere.

                  • Both understand the value of social media with regard to getting their message out to the audience they want to get it out to ...... Unfiltered by the press and broadcast media.

The difference is the unprecedented nature of Trump's use of Twitter, etc., as PEOTUS. Harbaugh's stuff is harmless. Trump's comments have the potentnial of being interpreted as indications of Trump's policy of governance over a broad range of subjects. It's dangerous.

Yes. And more than a few people have drawn the parallels between the two men before in their attitudes and approaches to their current position. In Harbaugh's case, it goes beyond the use of Twitter (e.g. the sleepover at the kicker's house, the satlellilte camps). With both men there seems to be a "throw the conventional wisdom rulebook into the garbage can" approach to their jobs.
