I just re-watched the UM-Minnesota game from last year and focused on Speight who had to come in and throw the winning TD pass at the end. There were only a few plays to watch but I was pleasantly surprised to see more mobility than expected. On the winning TD he smoothly moved up into the pocket to escape the rush and found the open man in the end zone.

There's really no 'strategic' value to keeping the QB decision a secret, so I believe that its just an ongoing battle that Harbaugh wants to see continue. He's giving the players as much time as possible before he makes his decision. I don't think the decision on who starts will have much of an effect on how Michigan does against Hawaii. I think either of the two favorites will be able to lead the team to a win.I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle

I saw some of the Hawaii vs Cal game last night.
Hawaii's QB Woolsey is probably good enough to help Hawaii avoid the shutout vs Michigan.
I'm kind of disgusted by the tone of last night's game and overall college football.
There is hardly any defense a lot of the time.
What is college football becoming, NASCAR? Just turn left for 60 minutes/ or just watch teams predictably move up the field with no competition by defenses.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Cal is pretty awful (but have a good QB), Hawaii is even worse. Neither team tried to play defense till they got in the red zone. The Rainbows turned the ball over 5 times (1 int, 4 fumbles) to make what could've been a close game a blowout; Hawaii was moving the ball pretty easily against a lousy Cal defense... 61k attendance in that 83k stadium in Australia.
M shouldn't have much trouble putting up lots of points against Hawaii, that spread is probably about where it should be. Just not sure if after M is up 28-7 at the half if HARBAUGH!!! will just run the ball into the defense for clock killing, 15+ drives and only win 45-10.

Hawaii had one good looking running back and FWIW their offensive line looked pretty good. I don't know how much of that is Cal's defensive front sucking horribly though. Their QB looked like Nick Sheridan to me. Maybe a little better but some of his throws were terrible. Defense was Gad awful. I'm thinking 52-17.
