Jim Hackett, in his last speaking engagement on his last day as Michigan interim athletic director in March in Ann Arbor, challenged the early morning breakfast business group to find the “Easter egg” in the upcoming new Nike uniforms.
So I guess there's a history behind that 4. FINE. Fix the two and I'm happy.
Also notable -- that 4 is gonna be across all uniforms. So probably this font is gonna be standard on other unis. NP, IMO, save for that dumb 2. I was worried about an off-the-rails font on the basketball jersey.

More mild, pointed humor and reparte (both giving and receiving), but for the most part I had real questions/opinions on "Jumpman"and then the hand placement in the photo (which was a real question because it looked odd but deliberate and Texas A&M has something similar).
Anyway. I'll take my leave from this thread. No need to shove...

I'm just relieved to see that U-M didn't grant permission to Nike/Jumpman to take liberties with the uniform, like they have with Oregon. The critical mainstays of the uniform are there, and it appears that the true "maize" has returned. I like the "M" on the nose guard part of the face mask too. No more different brand names. Just one logo.
Amazing how a kid that big can be so lean an muscular. His strength and speed are off the charts. He could dominate like Ndamukong Suh did at Nebraska.
