It has to be a smokescreen. If Harbaugh named O'Korn the starter now Speight might stop working, and he'll be needed as a backup. Watch film from O'Korn's freshman year at Houston and then tell me that Speight has equal or greater ability.

I always felt that Ruddock would start. HARBAUGH!! just wants an honest competition. He won't name the starter until right before Hawaii but I'd be stunned if it isn't O'Korn.

agree. Harbaugh is no dummy ... he knows O'Korn has a bigger upside, but he wants him to earn it. Naming Speight the #1 coming out of spring was a motivational tactic to get O'Korn pushing to his max. This is the way it should be. Great to see real competition back in full force.

Regrettable font for that #2. Should keep the middle of it horizontal. I first noticed the difference between using a diagonal and a horizonal line on Michael Jordan's Bulls jersey. Hence the irrational hatred for the diagonal option.

I recognize the extreme importance of this distinction.

I had my first dream about Michigan football in a long time last night. It was the Hawaii game. We were leading 7-3 late in the first half. The defense and running game were good but O'Korn was terrible.

I do agree translation is an art. Another common one is ``the colour representing the joy known only by those who win clean''.
