I am equal parts excited and scared for this season.

The expectations are staggering for a team just one season removed from a 5-7 record.
As much as I am hoping for a 11-1 regular season, 9-3 or 10-2 are the more likely ceiling.

Having said that, JH really needs to do well this year to seal the deal with recruits for this year and next. Losing again to Sparty and O-state, albeit on the road, will not be a good look and will make his narrative a tough sell. In fact, I would say that this is a pivotal season for M to deliver a good showing on the field and have a large number of players drafted--- if not we may looking at another decade of trouble.

The reality is that the talent divide between O-state and M is enormous ... I am quite certain if someone counts the average stars/ 247 composite score of the current rosters for the two teams, there will be sizeable gap in Urbz favor. This translates to a huge quality depth advantage for O-state. M and JH will not overcome this gap any time soon or possibly ever. In the end, if M is to have any chance of restoring balance to the rivalry, JH will have to out-develop or out-coach Urbz. One can understand why Talent is so confident with his insufferable and tiresome HARBAUGH remarks and overall sandbaggery.

I watched Harbaugh's presser. I was pretty surprised that he let it slip that 2 of the 3 people not pictured were suspended. He has a way of side stepping questions then bulldogging his way into not answering it. He side stepped once or twice then said 2 were suspended.

He's hilarious though because as soon as he gave the press a snip it of gossip they started asking followup questions and he basically ended the interview. I love when he does that because it irritates the press so much

He's handling the situation internally, and he doesn't need to be embarrassing the kids in the media. They're freshmen, for crying out loud. They probably came to town, first time away from home, did some stupid stuff, and got nailed for it. Harbaugh is letting them know that stuff won't fly.

Rashan Gary is going to abuse all B1G players, hopefully this season. I hope Bredeson isn't needed this year and I'll be worried if he is. There should be OL with more eligibility in front of him ready to play plus they'll graduate 3 OL in '16.

9-3 floor, 12-0 ceiling; it's been a long time since we had near that high of either. 9-3 would be awful considering the experience and the amount of seniors. 10-2 is my expectations, when's the last time we went 3-2 from a group of OSU, Sparty, PSU, Wiscy & Iowa?

Urban Meyers seems to be better on the offensive side of things. Harbaugh is good with QBs and therefore also an offensive specialist.

The key matchup this year, however, is Michigan's defense vs Ohio's offense. Michigan is well positioned with a ton of proven talent returning, and with tOSU losing much of their talent.

This UM - OSU game will be extremely important this year. If we win, then it's game on and we're essentially level with OSU. Meyer is an offensive genius, but I think we have too much defensive talent for his offense this year and will defeat them soundly.
