  • Favorite recruiting story was De'veon Smith saying Hoke fell asleep on the couch on a home visit, and Hoke denied it. (Could have been one of those times when he was ``aware, but not fully aware''.)

      • "I knew it was bad after that insane loss at ND when they bullied their way down the field in the first quarter -- was it the first drive even? -- and then Borges called that insane halfback pass that was intercepted. 13-6, I think the final was."

We got the ball on an interception deep in ND territory. Then threw the interception to stop the drive. Turnovers cost us that game. Denard turned it over on three straight drives.

        • 4/5 interceptions in that one half. If only we'd had a QB that could run maybe we wouldn't have had to pass so much.

          • Denard needed to at least be a threat to throw the mid-to-deep routes and he couldn't...

RR's quick, easy passes and reads fit DR's skillset much better as did his read-option; which softened the defense for RR to attempt other routes.

Hoke inherited DR and Devin Gardner and attempted to make them pocket passers, smh.

            • Gardner would have been an awesome QB for a coach like Harbaugh. Or for any above average coach on a stable program.

              • He didn't need to be on that drive that stalled. They marched down the field on the ground and then Borges called an HB pass on first and goal.

                • HokeOrges destroyed the careers of two fine athletes. It's only through the self determination of two outstanding young men that they've had some level of success after their college days.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                  • Just reading all of the takes on that ND game makes me laugh. I wish we never had to endure the RR / Hoke years but I have to think it's worked out well in the end. We have the best fit for Blue since Bo
                    F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

                    • Urban Meyer's talent hoovering takes the glow away. Michigan didn't have to shoot itself in the foot for four years while OSU was bulking up. Now there's some serious catchup to do. If we'd gotten him four years earlier we could have done some very effective kicking of the Buckeyes while they were down. Instead all we got was an eked-out win over a 6-6 team. Bo 2.0 is an amazing feelgood story for us, and there will be joy to come, but it didn't have to be this bad first.

                            • Ohio State wasn't "down" for too long, but more importantly all UFM accomplishments are merely hollow and soulless victories of the vacuous and damned.

                              Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

                              • Saban and Meyer are 2-2. Would love to see the tie get broken this year. We'd lose, probably, but it would be a fun game.
