Like everyone else, I was very excited about Henson, and glad when Carr gave him a chance to split time with Brady. But as the season wore on, the contrast became ludicrous, as Brady was clearly much better.
Hard to say about Guterriez, since we never got see him play college ball. And it was exciting to have Henne as a recruit and promising young starter.
But looking back, the QBs in the old system were consistently awesome. Michigan was QB U. John Navarre, who seemed promising at the start, was a disappointment, in my opinion. It seems like the system when awry after the superrecruits Henson and Henne.
