  • I watche the IU - Penn State. IU looked much better to me, but had an incredible series of lost fumbles which kept them from breaking the game wide open. Michigan will have our hands full Saturday.

Dan, this is IU's MO just like it was RichRod's when he had Denard and the read option spread. Didn't M turn the ball over like 5X v. ND in SOuth Bend while Denard made ND look like they were wearing cement shoes?

Not sure exactly why this is so. I know ball security is stressed. The execution of plays in the read option game is pretty simple compared to the play and QB read complexities of a pro-style offense like Harbaugh's. But it is what it is and once you get fumbleitis it spreads like the plague among players trying to make plays and not fumble.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

If I understand bookmakers, they want the action on IU so, they'll get it early in the week forcing the line to drop, probably to around -17.

Opening odds, generally, are for shit. They also tend to be terrible predictors of actual outcomes; if they weren't talent and AA wouldn't have to work for a living.

          • IU had at least two total fuck up TOs.

                ....... and it probably is.

The more I read about the Iowa game, the more I realize how fluky that win was for those clowns. But it happens. It happened this year to osu in HV and it happened last year v MSU in the shoe.

                You move on.

                      • Really bad, unless you've been begging for O'Korn to start all season.

O'korn has some mobility at least. Does this mean more wildcat with Dr. Pepper. I hope not.

                            • When all is said and done, Michigan football is in no different position than it was before the Iowa loss
                              Yeah, not so much.

At least O'Korn has been a starter before, he wont' be a total deer in headlights (though it's been a coupe of years). Still, this is huuuuuuge. It will be interesting to see how/if the offense adapts to more mobile QB.

                              • Tyler O'Conner and that other MSU QB dude that sucks won in Columbus last season. (Insert "you are telling me there is a chance" meme).
Michigan is going to need a lot of stuff to go their way for a win...

OR maybe O'Korn is randomly good. He does have starter experience playing at BYU, at Temple, etc...
