According to Matt Wenzel at MLive (referenced by froot loops), the Harbaugh commencement address at Paramus is a win-win for the two (at least for their football programs). In other words, it's a good choice for Paramus in as much as their football program is an asset to their school.

Perhaps they should have invited Hillary Clinton to speak about the benefits of giving speeches to AIPAC?

The point is that there is nothing wrong with helping your institution by choosing a guest speaker who is connected. That's how it works, and that's how the world works. Is Harbaugh a good partner for Paramus is the more serious question. Would they have been better served by inviting a more serious person such as Hillary Clinton or Stephen Colbert?
