currently, we are slotted at #5 on 247 with PSU at 19 and Sparty and #21.
Both of their classes are actually pretty good, but just smaller numbers than M.
I think JH had to go for a big class this year. I think after seeing Hoke-recruited players in action for a year, it was clear to him who wasn't going to make much of an impact on the team.
I think we are going to see this repeat frequently with JH. Players who arrive and don't perform are going to get suggested that their future may be brighter elsewhere.... a harsh reality of the new meritocracy.Comment

I dug this up from mgoblog. It's a 2016 depth chart for the OL done by a poster there (Mr. Yost). The OL is my biggest concern for 2017. WM and Oracle, can you comment? My comments in italics.

Harbaugh confirms 4 practices between February 27th to March 6th Bradenton , FL. Swimming, golf but damn the gulf is cold that time of year.
Palm Beach south are the only consistent tropical water temps that time of year.

with '16 wrapped, we need the early preview on '17 OL recruit opportunities.... and needs to make sure the commits are not just waiting around to see if they get admitted to Stanford.

So, there you have it. Work hard or get culled. I'm not sure that's exactly appropriate, but that's what it is now. On the coaching staff to judge kids appropriately from the start.Comment
