I know the politics was a bone of contention going back to the Lloyd years, but that will always be there. I worked with a guy who played for Michigan and his son was a pretty good player. The guy claimed players would bring in McDonald's for Ron English as a way for playing time. And he was actually serious.Comment

I'm done with Marcus Ray after his comments to Rico Beard. I won't be listening to him on WTKA anymore. I hope Harbaugh makes him persona non grata around Schembechler Hall. Being objective is one thing, but aiding and abetting the enemy is another.

I get what Ray is saying - right now both OSU and MSU are better programs than UM. I don't think any of us would deny that. You'd think that Ray, being a former UM player, would say it a little more diplomatically than the way he did.
However, I stopped listening to his analysis sometime ago, because it is not good. He has too many simplistic answers for what a team should do, without acknowledging their limitations.Comment

That's out of character for Ray to talk like that about MSU. From what I've heard from him this year he was downplaying State's chances. Maybe he lost a bet to Beard that he had to say that.Comment
