Whoops wrong thread. You'll excuse my enthusiasm for M football today.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.
Come to Ohio State....next year we're doing our Spring Ball in Australia! Then in Paris! Then in Rome! See the world....
Sending 100 people or so overseas would get prohibitively expensive. I see the bigger problem being the use of it as a recruiting event at that academy.
Yeah, that's actually not what my concern would be. It's a benefit for a student athlete. It probably has Title IX issues, too. I mean, it's one thing to schedule games in nice places. But, practice?
Anywho, I don't think it will stand.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]? Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.
Harbaugh confirms that they will have a week of Spring ball down at IMG academy in Florida. I like that.
No problem with this at all.
The men's baseball team and the women's softball team have to play nearly 50% of their regular season down south because of how the seasons are set up.
So, if Harbaugh can take the boys down south and get in some practice in good weather, I'm all for it. And if a few prime recruits stop by to watch, that's good too.
I don't always roll a joint, but when I do, its usually my ankle
All of you on this listserve owe undying gratitude to Tom Wopat. I had told him at a tailgate that I was so sure that Harbaugh was not coming to UM that I would bet him that the loser of that bet would streak the fifty yard line during a game and post a video of the event here. Tom didn't take the bet. Instead he bet me a six pack of local beer. Tom, Hack and Jeff took that bet. As some here know I may be an asshole but I never welch on a bet. Believe me, seeing me streak the fifty yard line nude is something that would scar you for life.
