Please support the Forum by using the Amazon Link this Holiday Season

Amazon has started their Black Friday sales and there are some great deals to be had! As you shop this holiday season, please consider using the forum's Amazon.com link (listed in the menu as "Amazon Link") to add items to your cart and purchase them. The forum gets a small commission from every item sold.

Additionally, the forum gets a "bounty" for various offers at Amazon.com. For instance, if you sign up for a 30 day free trial of Amazon Prime, the forum will earn $3. Same if you buy a Prime membership for someone else as a gift! Trying out or purchasing an Audible membership will earn the forum a few bucks. And creating an Amazon Business account will send a $15 commission our way.

If you have an Amazon Echo, you need a free trial of Amazon Music!! We will earn $3 and it's free to you!

Your personal information is completely private, I only get a list of items that were ordered/shipped via the link, no names or locations or anything. This does not cost you anything extra and it helps offset the operating costs of this forum, which include our hosting fees and the yearly registration and licensing fees.

Stay safe and well and thank you for your participation in the Forum and for your support!! --Deborah

  • Veterans Ticket Foundation

I posted this on the Lions board, but know there are quite a few Vets on this board that might be able to take advantage of this.

You probably won't see any U of M football tickets, although I did get tickets to the Sugar Bowl when they played Virginia Tech, but there will probably be a lot of other events available in lower Michigan.

I thought I'd post this for the Vets on the board.

Full Disclosure: I get extra "coins" to enter in lotteries for tickets for referrals using the link I provided (sort of like NBA draft ping pong balls...)

There is a foundation for providing tickets to events for veterans called Vet Tix. It gets donated tickets to veterans for free (very small handling fee). I have been using it for a few years and have gotten tickets to two Orange Bowls and the Go Daddy Bowl. They also get tickets to concerts and other events. You can set it up to send you alerts to the type of event that you are interested in and the distance from your home.

If you are a Vet and interested go to this link and sign up. You will need to provide proof of service, but it is worth the small hassle that is involved.
