Purdue's PGs, PJ Thompson and Johnny Hill, are streaky players on offense. Thompson can randomly has games when he makes a couple 3 point shots. Hill is a better ball handler.
Both players are good defenders, especially Thompson.
That might be part of the reason Walton is scoreless. Walton has missed a couple 3's he usually makes too...

Not sure I get the point of this post. I made an observation. I don't think this is a very good team and I don't care for the way they play. Nothing more. Nothing less. They are not embarrassingly bad, but they are not really very good

IMO it's the opposite -- survive the conference and maybe get some breathing room in the first weekend of the tournament.

We have signs of life right now. Irvin is on track and the team is playing with more juice, as Dakich would say.

They've pretty much shown to be mediocre and need to have "one of those nights" to have a chance to beat good teams.

A good draw might get them a win or even two, but I feel it will only be fool's gold.
