  • Tonight's game was pretty good. Michigan got it going early in the 2nd half.
I hope LeVert is ok, he left with an injury late in the 2nd half.

Michigan has so much depth and its fun to watch. Once they get Irvin back, they might be playing 13 players. Each player showed their own strengths.
Even Wagner showed he is promising. If he stays 4 years, I can't wait to see the senior version of Wagner.

    • They won't play 13 players. Come the important games they'll shrink it to 9-10.

      • I wasn't expecting Wagner to play this year. Wow that's a huge surprise especially coming in at the end like that.
        F#*K OHIO!!!

You're not only an amazingly beautiful man, but you're the greatest football mind to ever exist. <-- Jeffy Shittypants actually posted this. I knew he was in love with me.

          • Really excited about Dawkins after watching that highlight package. Putback dunk in the first half was spectacular.

            • Yup, it was Northern, but good to see him pick up where he left off. I was(still am a tiny bit) worried a bit about a sophomore slump, especially seeing many fans saying he's a candidate to jump early after this year or next. Still don't think that's possible, but he looked great last night.

              • I could see it -- shoot 40% from 3 and with that level of athleticism and you're a first-round pick for sure. But even assuming he ends up starting at 4, which is a big assumption, there are other players ahead of him in the pecking order who will get shots and touches first.

                • He's got no ball skills right now tho.

Dawkins is a long ways away from being ready to leave early. He's got a lot of talent that translates well to the next level but other areas of his game that are really weak.

                    • I probably agree and didn't think of him yet as a leave-early candidate, but underclassmen have been drafted comfortably in the first round with less going for them. TH2 is a good example.

                      • Yea for those that saw the Northern Michigan game, you definitely saw how Dawkins is still struggling at creating his own shot.
Dawkins had several opportunities early in the 2nd half, but ended up passing the ball almost every time because the defender was right on him.
He might have slightly improved on that from last season.

Still, Dawkins has great athleticism and can shoot well.
I didn't understand why GR3 left for the NBA, so who knows what Dawkins will do after the season. Nothing surprises me with those decisions.

                        • Thing about Dawkins is that three. If he continues to shoot around 40%, then he's a much, much better prospect than GR3.

Timmay developed a handle in his Junior year and also made a lot of big shots. Dawkins certainly has the AA and looks to have the 3-ball down. I hope he's a 3 or 4 year player, as he looks like he'll be a good one.

Yeah with Dawkins you can definitely see it. GRIII -- it made no sense.

                              • But he's still found his way with a guaranteed contract and in the rotation on an NBA team. Good for him.
