Good win, I guess. On the road, Ohio State has the backbone of a Parisian. Only 6 more game of Amir Williams, assuming mercifully early exits from both the B10 and NCAA tourneys.

Very disappointing. You have the right mix there. Haven't seen enough to understand it, but with the seniors plus a very nice incoming class and two guys in Tate and Russel completely ready to go (Tate not as good a player but that's a pretty fully-formed plug-and-play kind of game he brings), this should have been a good team hitting its stride right now.

Yeah, but they have zero inside. And for whatever reason they just don't defend. It's disappointing. Reminds me of the Kosta Koufas team that never came together then destroyed everyone in the NIT. Meh.
I'd trade Amir for Daniel Giddens right now. Pluck him out of HS and stick him in the B10. Then again, I'd trade you for Amir right now. So, well...
That said, I'm not hugely invested in this team. I watched enough to know they weren't going to get there. I enjoyed a nice run today rather than watch them muddle about. And I swore to myself that I would be happy about all things OSU until September after the improbable January. Amir and the overall spineless defense has tested that a bit, but I'm still there!Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

A week since any posts here. Telling. Well, tonight's a chance to show progress against a 2-3 zone. Before the bottom fell out on Chatman, he was a reasonable contributor from the middle in the Syracuse win, although the second half of that game was mostly Spike's penetration that did it. This is a chance to show some degree of in-season improvement by handling the zone better. They've certainly faced it enough this year.
