LOL. I didn't even read the last 10 posts. Chatman isn't an athlete at all. He was rated and recruited for his size and versatility. Dawkins is the best athlete on the team and it's not close.

Chatman hasn't looked that athletic. I know he has knee problems so that might be part of it.

Mgo blog is an echo chamber. Anyone that puts on a Michigan uniform is a great athlete and if he doesn't perform it's obviously because the coach isn't getting the most out of him. Sometimes it's okay to admit the other team just has superior talent.

That was certainly the case last night. Iowa has a ton of length and they're not stiffs, for the most part. Even Woodberry (?) has some moves.

I don't recall him looking that exceptional athletically in his h.s. videos. He had a handle and was skilled but not a big leaper or extremely quick.

He's not going to look athletic because his game isn't predicated on athleticism. It's never been a selling point.

In the past we haven't had anybody in this thread who's goal is just to find things to disagree with, and won't back off when that goal leads to obvious stupidity. More informative discussions can and should be had instead.

Really, this would be fine if it were the NBA. When mass injuries don't help your draft slot, it just sucks.

This season was over months ago. I don't really care if Walton misses the rest of the season. He needs to be 100% in 9 months, so let's make that happen.

I'll give it these next 2 games before I call the season. We'll probably get crushed tomorrow, but Crean's shown he can be an asshat so we'll see.

We needed to hold serve at home, and we needed to prove that the effort level was going to be there consistently now. A backslide into December-funk effort level to me says that this just isn't the year to get whatever's possible out of what's still left on the table. I guess there's always a conference-tournament explosion. I wouldn't rule it out, I guess. Still...
