  • LeVert is a legit NBA first-rounder. The chemistry was bad when Michigan was able to put serious talent on the floor, and good when it wasn't. Impossible not to notice now the extra effort on D. That's on Beilein. 30 years of coaching scrappy underdogs, and he's now got to adjust to coaching a team for which there are expectations.

It'll be interesting to see what Beilein can do with the guys he's brought in that he thinks will be system players. Dawkins and MAAR have shown a lot this year for who they are and how they got here. MAAR is proving how important a serious penetrator is for this offense.

      • I don't give a shit about how bad chemistry was. If your team is better without you, effort or not, you don't belong on the NBA. And if it's chemistry then maybe Levert was the actual problem. I find it mind boggling that a team might be dumb enough to draft him.

        • That's reductionism to the point of absurdity. If if LeVert was the only moving part in the equation.

          • It's not like Lavert was out there scoring 30 every night and singlehandedly keeping his team in games. He sucked many times this year. How many NBA stars are there that get pwned by Eastern Michigan?

              • Spoke to soon lol.

Of course Michigan comes back with the guy I criticized making the tie-bucket.

It's pretty simple. LeVert has an NBA-level 3 and a NBA athleticism, and he's very young. You'll see what happens to him in the NBA.

Name one single player in the NBA whose team you think would improve if he was replaced with a combination of Dan Dakich and MAAR.

MAAR looks as comfortable moving with the ball as James Harden. Not the same talent... MAAR is good with the ball.

                      • LaVert is an NBA player, but he was borderline first last season and he did nothing to improve his stock this season. Given his injury he's probably an early 2nd rounder.

Just like current NBA superstars Darius Morris, Manny Harris, and GRIII? LMAO

Rakman is a player. He should be getting minutes with or without LaVert.

Aside from that, losing LaVert did not make us better. The maturation of the freshmen, finally cutting off a gimpy walton and a healthy spike Albrecht made us better.

Outside of harris, all those guys are still nba players.

Granted hack is incapable of seeing any Michigan product as anything but a future NBA superstar, so there's that.

Keith Appling, Durrell Summers, Paul Davis, and Maurice Akers sucked too.
