  • Can't let Valentine waltz through like that.

    • With the exception of Doyle they have the bigger, stronger players. Not much you can do about them backing us in.

      • If anyone's unclear about what the expectations for Michigan SHOULD HAVE been, this game makes it pretty damn clear. Two starters down, two walkons and Beilfeldt in the rotation, and we're in position here to steal a big one one the road. Pretty clear that a team at full strength and not lazy on defense would have been a very solid team, would have been in line for a 12-6/13-5 type conference schedule, and a top-4 seed in the tournament.

After 'Nova, Michigan really punted on its non-conference schedule. It's a shame it took the destruction of expectations to get Beilein to start junking it up on D and to get the players to really hustle their butts off our there. Should be a big learning year for Beilein about what happens when you can't be the scrappy underdog.

Irvin was positioned poorly there. Needed to be outside the circle to contest.

          • Better go to the rim and get some whistles. MSU's getting plenty.

            • Abdul-Rakman is going to be my favorite player sooner than later.

Revisionist history. The squad out there now is better than the one they had in non-con both in health and experience.

We could win every game for the rest of the season and it would still not make me go back and rip them for the hand they were dealt in November and December.

                  This right here.

                  Need to hold onto this.

                  • Two turnovers this half and 56% shooting. It's getting easier to set expectations. This team can and should make the tournament. If they can do this, they can hold at home and steal another road win or two.

                    • I'd like to see more out of Beilein out of a timeout than a Beilfelt fade-away.

                      • Bielfeldt keeps getting lost between too passive and too aggressive.

The pick and pop he had before the timeout was a better shot.

                        • This also highlights how patently absurd it is that Caris Levert is first round NBA material.

                          • Biefeldt 2-8 shooting + that turnover. Not good

                            • Disappointing end... Both teams won't do anything in the NCAA Tourney this season, but at least Michigan is significantly younger/ has much more potential in the next 1-3 years.

                              • This is disappointing. 61-57, three opportunities to extend that, and, this. Beilein needed to be more in control there. Call something out of the timeout.
