  • 22-4 run by Michigan. Up 13. 8 3's so far.

BTW- Donnal was pulled after picking up a foul in the first minute.

    • They don't guard the 3-pt line, do they?

      • Pretty darn good first half
        Atlanta, GA

        • 49-28 at the half! After the slow start, the offense really clicked. Donnal came back in with about 7 minutes left and is 3 for 3 from the floor, 2 of which I thought should've been And-1's. He also blocked a shot. Wagner also played well, going 2 for 2. In fact, everybody except for Walton (1-4 shooting, 1 assist and 4 turnovers) has played well.

They started to, which opened up the lane. It's pick your poison.

By the way, it's Penn State that they're playing. My bad.

Heh, thought I was going loco there
Repugnant is the creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

              • I just get those two confused in basketball and Shon Morris is doing color. It seems like the NW-grad always does the NW game.

                • I guess this is basically a look at next year's team, except Simpson would be replacing Dakich as the back-up PG.

                  • 79-56 final. The 2nd half was a bit ho-hum but it was nice that they kept their huge lead and never let PSU get within 20. Donnal with 16 & 8. He isn't doing anything magical in the post but he's being available, making his bunnies, and his hands are so much better than Doyle's. Irvin looked good and had 7 assists.

Michigan's next 3 games are going to be very tough. At Purdue, Maryland and at Iowa. We'll need Caris back to get a win in any of those games.

                    • No LaVert and they're still hanging tough @ Purdue.

Really wish this team could get healthy for once. They have the look of a good team that just needs some more talent. Everything they do is crisp but they get overwhelmed at times against talented teams.

                      • Love how we have charmin soft bigs and they call every nickel dimer against their fucking monsters. I have confidence in Purdue being able to choke this away.

                        • Purdue just making everything they throw up. Some of it was bad defense but they have made about 100% of their open shots and 50% of their bad ones.

They'd be beating anyone in the country the way they're shooting the ball. Just not Michigan's night.

Even their trademark bonehead turnovers are deflecting right into the hands of an open player.

                          • Yeah, let a team like Purdue shoot over 50% and that's it. Held their own on the boards too.

                            Then Hammonds hits a 3...

                            • On cue, Hammons turns into Dik Nowitzki.

                              • Hammons has always been surprisingly decent at jump shots. In fact, as an freshman and sophomore, I thought he was very passive and often took long 2 point shots.

Isn't like he is Shaq or Ben Wallace.
