Look a lot more engaged on defense early here. Gonna be hard to keep playing 10-11 guys...I don't like it personally.

It worked okay for Kentucky last year. That said, I think it will get tightened up by conference play. Right now, it's just like an on-court tryout for guys #8-12.

88-68 final. Walton with 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 dimes. Robinson goes 6-6 FG, 5-5 from 3 and 2-2 from the line for 19. LeVert had 11 points, 4 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. Maybe he's KCP's replacement next year? :-D

Top 8: LeVert, Walton, Irwin, Doyle, Albrecht, Dawkins, Robinson, MAAR.

Wilson, Wagner, Donnal, Chatman will battle for playing time and provide plenty of viable big men in case of foul trouble. Chatman can't shoot and gets confused, as does Wilson. But I like Wilson's chances better. Wagner could be the 9th man come tournament time.

MAAR proved last year that he can play with the best, and he'll only be better this year. Albrecht is one of the all time great players under 6' tall. Dawkins has improved by leaps and bounds (so to speak). Robinson is deadly from 3 point range, and more than just a shooter (c:

So this team has a ton of potential. I think we'll win the Big Ten, although I know little about the competition. I like our depth and chemistry.

If one of Wagner or Wilson can really challenge for minutes at 5, that's transformative.

I had no idea "B10 to Go" lets you watch full replays of Michigan's games. Today I had a chance to watch all of yesterday's game.
It will be tough not to give DJ Wilson minutes this season. He looks really promising with his ability to stretch the floor. He at least made one three shot.
In games when Michigan plays Purdue for example (AJ Hammons, Isaac Haas), I'd imagine they give Donnal some minutes.
He was the starter last night. He played decent enough that the 5 will be split between Doyle and Donnal a lot.
