  • Can't have anything nice!

    • Does that mean 6-8 weeks from now or 6-8 weeks starting at the beginning of the season?

      • From the date of surgery.

        • So since he had the surgery does that mean he won't miss any game time? Sounds OK to me.

          • I would guess he'll have a slow start, like McGary did after his back surgery. Hopefully, both he and Spike will at least be able to contribute at the start of the season.

            • Spike's supposedly fully recovered already. Between him and Walton we should have one heck of a savvy backcourt this year. Turnovers should be exceptionally low, in addition with LeVert in Year 4 in the system and Irvin in Year 3. Execution of the offense should be extremely crisp as well. I bet that unless Doyle has already hit his ceileing that we'll see the offense approach that '14 level of efficiency.

              • Good News/Bad News

                The Good:
Michigan has new uniforms for the season. They are more of a maize yellow, don't have any piping on the jerseys and the shorts have fairly large block M's on both sides.

                    • The Bad:

When the shirts are tucked in, this dumb-assed design is revealed.

It's like David Price was starting the and they brought Phil Coke in to close the game.

                              • Michigan doesn't make the preseason USA Today/Coaches Poll:

Michigan will start the season unranked this year. The Wolverines just missed out on a spot in the USA Today Preseason Coaches poll, coming in first among "others receiving votes."
