Next time you want to have an original opinion, let Hack do your thinking for you, like usual. Picking fights with me and parroting his ideas are the only two reasons you exist.Last edited by Kstat; February 8, 2015, 03:14 PM.

Actually an impressive last possession -- got an open look. Not from a preferred shooter, but I'm not going to complain. At the start of the possession I was thinking back to about 2 minutes left against MSU when they had a terrible disjointed possession and then after that Izzo called a TO to set something up and succeeded. I didn't perceive this offense as able to recover from the first option being thwarted, but it did there. Anyhow, hopefully some day it might sink in that you have to play both ends.

Another close loss to a team that should have throttled us by 10-15 points...
I'm so glad we have beilein instead of meathead. I know beilein won't waste talent like crean.
It's crazy how much of a disadvantage this team is at almost every game, and they're still competitive most of the time.

He was really good yesterday. Good for him. Rules and rules and such, but the NCAA nonsense that sent him to the NBA was stupid. I can see him developing into a solid starter in a few years. A lot of teams like "energy" guys at the 4 and McGary has some added offensive polish, IMO.Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

McGary's a gamble on greatness. If he stays healthy, you have a very solid third big. If he stays healthy AND learns to play with his brain as well as his energy and skill, and pace himself, then you have even more than a solid player.
I don't know how it would have turned out here, but it just feels like he was born into the role of being ill-fated. Even if he were here this year, and what a difference that would have made, I'd still bet on an injury. At least we had him as a catalyst for a great run that resulted in something, unlike some others who just weren't gonna last for whatever reason. Overlooked secondary hero of the Kansas game.
