  • Sounds weird to say, but I really think Doyle needs more touches in the post. As you said, every 2 right now is difficult. If the 3s aren't dropping, that's where the huge droughts come from. The 2-3 worked well in the Illinois 2nd half. I like it and the 131 as change of pace only.

We'll see. If they can get to 5-2, anything can happen.

    • This team is dead men walking far as the big dance goes, but that doesn't keep me from enjoying nice wins like tonight.

For what it's worth, I think our team defense is improved. Our offense is just laughably limited. Watching walton try to move is painful.

A .500 B1G finish would be a really nice sign of progress to build on heading into next season.

      • Couldn't agree more about Doyle getting touches. No-brainer. Beilein has to adjust to what he has.

        • I just saw that Jon Horford was suspended at Florida earlier this week.

He has since been reinstated but won't play in their next game.

            • I hope we have a moment of silence for Roy Tarpley today. Addict or not, he played his heart out for U-M for 4 years.

                • Inexplicably, can't hit a fucking shot again. I guess that doesn't make it inexplicably, does it? I'll take down 2 they way they've played.

                  • Inexplicably, Doyle is an explicably bad defensive rebounder.

                    • Painful to watch this team offensively. Spike Albrecht should not be dominating the ball like this.

                      • No one should. Spike and Levert are both guilty of it.

                        • Spike having very little actual physical ability makes it inexcusable. LaVert is an NBA guy. I can live with him always having the ball. Spike is a role player on a college team that thinks he's an NBA guy.

Spike also can't defend for shit, but where you're his size you can't be expected to, which calls into question why he's always on the floor.

There's not enough talent on this team. They play hard but other than LaVert most of them just aren't good enough.

                            • This is the same old big, lumbering low-IQ team minnesota always throws out there. And they're pretty much dominating us at home, which is just sad.
