  • I simply stated that it was an embarrassing loss. This lone game in isolation. It will go down as one of the worst regular season losses in recent memory, if not ever. This was the first game against a ranked team for NJIT, and they won in Crisler.

    Is anyone debating this?

And no, it doesn't excuse M's performance yesterday by throwing out that M lost to Alaska-Anchorage 26 years ago, and went on to win the title.
And btw- not that it matters but they played out in Salt Lake City, not at home.

I made no predictions as to how the rest of the season will play out.
I would love nothing more than another deep run for M in the tournament to occur.

Post anything negative and you don't know anything about BB/FB; got it.
Repugnant is the creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

Fans are going to be pissed. Duh.
So -- the biggest egg-laying in the country in 7 years. But it happens all the time Yet another tiny university now has a greatest moment in their sports history, compliments of The University of Michigan. .

Incidentally, that Kentucky team barely squeaked into the tourney as an 11 seed and lost in the first round.

          • Rob Murphy's doing a great job at Eastern. I didn't see them last year, but two years ago went to a handful of games and they look just so much better now.

Not what we wanted so far. The passing has been terrible, and Michigan can't give up offensive rebounds like this to EMU. Chrissakes.

              • The rebounding is just fucking disgusting. Box the fuck out already.

                • This is on Beilein. Hardly has given Chatman a chance in the middle, where he was reasonably effective against Syracuse. Just sending the same guys out there with the same lack of a plan. No way you can get owned on the boards like this, either.

Credit where it's due -- EMU's guys in the middle are covering ground fast and getting hands up against passes. They played really well. They banked in two threes and Michigan can't find the net, but still.

                  What a shit week.

                            • They have one PG that can't guard anyone and another PG that can't run an offense, so....yeah.

Also, the frontcourt is a steaming pile.

                              • Not a good night for the conf. Louisville kills Indiana in the second half, Villanova handily beats Illinois, and well...Michigan being Michigan.
