Jeezus, no one's said yet it wasn't as shitty loss. If you've ever played or watched basketball for even a little bit, this shit happens. If it would have happened in the tourney, like Paul said, that's a different story.

No doubt. Do you guys remember the shitty loss UM had to college of charleston last year? These are not atypical in college basketball. Teams are judged by how they finish in conference play, how they finish in conference tourney and how they finish in the ncaa tourney. Not whether or not they went undefeated in the regular season or if they lose to a team they shouldn't have. You know why? Because it happens every season. Tell me: was this loss more embarrassing than uconn losing at home to Yale yesterday or Indiana losing at home to eastern Washington on 11/24?

It isn't an apology, it is the fact of the game. Do you follow college basketball? I just gave you 4 examples of other embarrassing losses, but you have no response other than blind anger. Besides, none of us "apologists" have said it was a good loss. We acknowledged it was crappy and the team looked terrible. We simply are pointing out it is not the end of the season or something to start a tar and pitchfork crowd over.
