                that is an apples to oranges comparison. Basketball is a long season with way more games. A bad loss yes, but there is still time for the team to rebound and redeem themselves.

                    They obviously didn't take them seriously enough and by the time they did NJIT got too hot it was too late. Oh well. Good thing about CBB is this loss isn't crippling in any way.

                      The 2007 team "redeemed" themselves, too. Nobody forgot they lost to app fucking state in the big house and that will be what this team will be remembered for.

                        You're kidding right? The basketball team plays about 30 games. If they make the ncaa tourney, all anyone will remember is how far they went in the tourney. It is an apples to oranges comparison with football.
