  • Gotta run Irvin all around the court if Michigan isn't going to lose the 4 matchup.

    • Well, thus far yet another example of how you win in the paint in this sport, and not on the perimeter. Michigan may still win this game, but being perimeter-oriented just fucking sucks. Stupid approach. Beyond me how anyone can command several million dollars a year to bring to the table a clearly inferior strategy.

      • They're not even managing the stuff they are supposed to excel at.

        • Irvin with the Andre Drummond impersonation on the front end of a one-and-one. WTF?

          • and then his next shot is an air ball.
            Irvin is really struggling.

            • We're not gonna win any 4 matchup with Irvin playing the way he is. Wow wow wow.

              • Passed up 3 good shots to get the worst one.

                • Dakich and Tirico nailing everything. Levert doesn't look right(not unexpected IMO) and it feels like Purdue should be up more. 1-7 from 3 so far, so I'll take that as encouragement.

                  • Purdue's not a good team on the road. If we'd played a good half we'd be up 6-8 points, problem is, we're not that good right now.

                    • This is not a good basketball team. They don't play very good defense, they don't rebound, and they are soft and get pushed around.

They have no chance to make any real run if they get in the tourney.

                        • IMO it's the opposite -- survive the conference and maybe get some breathing room in the first weekend of the tournament.

We have signs of life right now. Irvin is on track and the team is playing with more juice, as Dakich would say.

                          • Back in a rut. If they don't get hot from 3 this is going to be very tough.

                            • 3 on Hammonds. It's all there for them to take.

                              • Tough call there.

Enjoying Dakich/Tirico today. These guys have really become a great pair.
