Exactly. On the flip side, I think we both long ago thought KU would give M fits pretty much just the way they did. But M got a missed front end and 30 footer (thought, I maintain the most fortunate play was the ping pong offensive board that ended up with GR3 who then made a really tough reverse).The only thing that happened vs OSU, and Talent and a lot of us besides him, worried about OSU having the offensive consistency to make a run. It'd been a problem all year and it ran out. Pretty simple really. Although, I do enjoy the tongue in cheek ribbing they're getting.

Tourney has a lot to do with luck as it's single elimination...
However, I don't see anyone shocking Louisville. They are a level better than anyone else. Incredibly athletic, quick, 'long' and play great team defense. Not a good matchup for M either.Comment

Might or might not be. I don't know. Ultimately they are a pressing team, and everyone saw what Michigan just did to the Rams. To the extent that Donovan didn't press today and got lambasted for his game plan by the pundits. You've got to think that's a negative for Louisville. Then again, apart from Trey I just don't see our guys ready to battle like Louisville is. Playing hard is a core part of their approach. Maybe unwise of me to say at this early juncture, but I'd almost prefer playing Louisville in a best of 7. Talent wins out more often in that setting and that's what we've got.Comment

At least L-Ville won't be riding the wave of playing in front of an 80% Cardinals crowd. Indy is 90 minutes away and Atlanta is over 6 hours away. They will still probably have the numbers but I know a lot of people from here that found their way down to the ATL. Hopefully, they will be there.

Not a huge loss. It probably does them a favor, since they already have 6 commits and some of the guys that were thought to be 1-and-done players have been talking about coming back. I think only Noel is a sure departure.
I'm not sure how many of these guys are on scholarship but they have 9 returning players, as far as I can tell.
