And I think that Jordan might be the guy. I'm just speculating.

Bacari is certainly a good motivator but Butler went after Jordan last year to be their Head Coach. They went a different direction in the end (and are having a terrible year) but he might be held in higher regard. He also presumably has the most pull in Indiana, which has been a crucial recruiting bed for Michigan. I guess Bacari is the Detroit connection but talent in-state hasn't been that strong/deep in the last 10 years.

I didn't mention Meyer just because I think he's a little too old. I'm guessing Beilein is here for another 5 years, at least.

I like all of the assistants. They've made a good support team for Beilein.

    • Iowa = most overrated team in College Basketball. Ranked #24 and they had 10 losses?! Wtf. Plus they will prob lose to Illinois tonight LOL!

      • Sure, Duke is beating UNC right now... but wtf is with the ranking?!
Both teams have the same record. UNC has a better ACC record. UNC hasn't lost since Jan 20th. Duke is 6-3 in their last 9 games.
Duke ranked #4, UNC ranked #14. DAFUQ?!

        • Iowa played a lot of games vs M, Sparty, Wisky, Ohio. They are probably a 7 seed.

          • Holy ****, Illinois! I'm glad I watched the last 2 minutes of the game lol.
Iowa is likely going to be a 12 loss team entering the NCAA Tourney (assuming they don't win the B10 tourney).

I know I'm locking them in as a 1st round loss on my bracket. They are just like that 7th seed Wisconsin team last year that had 11 losses entering the tourney.

            • M still going to need to win out AND receive some help to get a 2 seed. Like I've said, what's probably more important is to get a favorable region with weaker 1 & 2 seeds than landing in a tougher region.

              • I wonder how much the SEC fans/alum with power and access are funneling to the members of the NCAA Selection Committee to F' over the Big Ten members .... especially M.

I was trying to get the M/IU score last night on ESPN in a bar. Every SEC team that played Saturday had a story. The M win over IU ran across the bottom of the screen with no elaboration about what that team had just accomplished.

I am sick of what college sports have become.
Mission to CFB's National Championship accomplished. But the shine on the NC Trophy is embarrassingly wearing off. It's M B-Ball ..... or hockey or volley ball or name your college sport favorite time ...... until next year.

                • Yep. Espn is an sec network. It's sad. But we have to stop watching it in order for it to change. I won't watch an sec game. Period.

                        • Good game so far. I think if Nebraska wins, they are in the tourney, right? Overall, I think that is better for the B10.

Wisconsin wins = Wisconsin likely #1 or #2 seed, Nebraska probably out of tourney.
Nebraska wins = Wisconsin will be a #2 or #3 seed, Nebraska in tourney.

                          Go Nebraska!

                          • Nebraska is certainly on the bubble but losing to Wisky certainly isn't a loss that knocks them out but a win would certainly get them in.

                            • Nebraska not only has to beat Wisky, but also the refs. The no calls on some of the drives have been crazy

You are right.. but if I'm Nebraska, I am certainly thinking of this game as a must win.
This game reminds me of that season ending game for the 2005-2006 Michigan bball team. Michigan barely lost to IU at home and ended up losing to Minnesota in the 1st round of the B10 Tourney. If Nebraska did that, they might not make it.

Can't take any chances Nebraska, win this game!
