  • Matta will get what he can out of this group, and I bet in the end it will have a better record than Michigan, even though there's a pretty big gap in talent. And this is the rare case in which youth IS an excuse. OSU has Craft and everyone else has been there and done it already, so it is a veteran team. Just awfully short on talent for what its record will end up being. But I'm not surprised they've lost a few. I thought they were highly overrated before the season started. Lost Thomas and replaced him with nothing.

                • Quietly, Wake Forest basketball trolled itself.
They were decent/ good under head coach Dino Gaudio (67 winning %). They decided to fire him after a 20-11 season.

Then they hired Jeff Bzdelik, who was HORRIBLE at Colorado.
Bzdelik has been HORRIBLE at Wake Forest (37 winning %).

                      • Part of that is a product of playing in the biggest arenas (for the most part) but I'd wager that if you measured by % of capacity we would be easily be at the top of that too.

                        • That Pac12 number is surprising. Having only been to Crisler and NBA stadia, I was shocked at the size of University of Washingtons arena (10,000 seats).

                          • Crisler is way too small, it should've been upgraded in capacity with the renovations if possible...

Big surprise to me is the ACC, I realize they have a good deal of smaller, private schools though I expected it to easily be #2...

Syracuse and Louisville have huge arenas. UNC has a big place too but (dirty little secret) there's often quite a few empty seats.
