  • Ok, Barkely. Heh.
Dan Patrick: What was your reaction to [Urban Meyer being hired]?
    Brady Hoke: You know.....not....good.

    • The game was in Dayton. It would've taken big balls to make the correct call on that one.

      • Fortunately, they were able to do it. Kudos to the zebras.

        • Gift region and gift officiating at the end (as JD mentioned).

It's Craft though; he's never guilty of a foul. He's a god, really.
Repugnant is the creature who would squander the ability to lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.

          • Yep. Sure beats being down 3 or 4 with a minute left. ohio still might have pulled it out, though.

            • Just another sweet 16 for Coach Matta. Didn't realize it's been 20 years since M has been. Seems about right, though.

FLAGSHIP vs Not so Much. LOL.

              • 20 years? Really?

Wow, I was going to suggest that they act like they've been there before but for a lot of their fans, they haven't.

                • There's a middle ground between OSU, the only team in the conference that ``plays in the grey area'', and Michigan's adjust-reality-to-ensure-happiness approach. It's not that fucking hard to find. That's where I'd like to be.

Yeah, I know. I feel bad about mocking them for preening about. Anyway, I actually don't have much hate for M. As I've said, I like Beilein as a coach, and none of their players really rub me the wrong way.

And at this point, I'm fully on-board with seeing Barkley's head explode, so I'm all-B10. If IU wins AND either the Goofer or Illini, he may break down.

                    • B10 is now 12-1 in all post-season action. And Wisky could be looking at a LaSalle-Wichita path to the Elite 8.

                      • Never count on Wisky to make a tourney run. They are built to play well in the B1G season and that's it. It beats the horrific program they had for most of the post-WWII era, and Bo Ryan's done a great job, but that's all they will probably ever be.

Wisky, Georgetown, Pitt. Count on those teams to go out early every year. And they all play a similar style of ball.

                          • If OSU is playing Wichita, I'll handle it.

Last time Matta played Sean Miller in tourney, took a miracle to beat Xavier. That's going to be a really tough matchup.

                              • Question... Exactly when does the clock stop (toward the end of the game) after a made basket? Is it when it hits the floor, player, or something else like divine intuition?
