Again, with the CFP, I want a meritocracy. I’m not for anyone getting an autobid. Arkansas State winning the Sunbelt is nice and all but that alone shouldn’t give them a ticket to the CFP. If it’s a push to say they’re in the top 40 of teams, why would they get a spot in a 12-team playoff? I’m not saying they can’t get in, but they need to be a top level team to get their ticket punched.
