I still don't get it.
I dated a lot of girls before I finally met my wife, and in no case, nor at any time, have I ever felt the urge to hit any of them.
I had a couple old girlfriends who flat-out, ripped my heart from my chest in the way they broke up with me, but never, ever did I feel a desire to hit them. Never. I've never approached that level of anger toward a woman.
I've been married to my first wife for 48 years. I can honestly say, I've never, ever felt an urge to hit her. Never. And I can firmly state that I'll never approach that level of anger.
But yet there are guys out there who seem to think its fine to knock a woman around.

Solid wins by the conference overall already this week. Penn State beat Butler, MSU beat Kentucky, Purdue beat Marquette, and you know Georgetown has really fallen on hard times when they're getting punked at home by Northwestern.
Michigan v. Pittsburgh and Iowa at Seton Hall tonight.
Nebraska plays St John's tomorrow
Then a bunch of decent games on Friday:
Rutgers at Temple
Indiana at Xavier
Sparty v. VIllanova
Illinois v. UCLA

Purdue handled Gonzaga late last night/ early morning. I watched the 1st half and went to bed because it was too late.
Unranked to start the season. Despite losing several productive players… including the amazing Jaden Ivey… Purdue might have struck gold with its recent recruiting classes. Including a diamond in the rough in 3 star true freshman Braden Smith. He sure does look like an underrated recruit as Indiana Mr. Basketball. Matt Painter has his gaffes in March, but he can sure recruit and develop.
Sets up a huge matchup vs Duke on Sunday. Then Florida State next… which led me to realize holy shit, Florida State is randomly terrible this season. Florida State, Louisville, and Villanova?! Ouch. What happened…AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Best option for a future comparable event is with the Big12. We already have a sort-of "challenge" with the Big East but it's spread out over a week and receives little fanfare
