I'm not expecting Michigan to beat Purdue this year, unless Hammond reverts to the effort-issues guy of two years ago. Michigan is going to see some significant in-season improvement for sure, but what happened against Xavier is a pattern. Those steal-our-lunch money losses happend on occasion until last year, when they were common. I'm wondering if the lack of a Novak, Burke or Stauskas is the issue. Those were three different types of leaders, but leaders nonetheless. We'll see. This is a show-me year.
