Which I'm sure JBs would be too...don't recall him being asked that yet. He'd probably just take a no comment.

I'll take that bet too, WM. Bo Ryan's been there since 2001. He's gone 9-7 once and 10-8 once, and otherwise he's been very comfortably over .500. The system they've got there is extraordinarily resilient. It's as if Ryan extracted the good bits of Izzo without the bad, and the good bits of Beilein without the bad, and Wisconsin basketball is kind of what you get as a result. Very rough comparison, but still. Koenig and Hayes are two nice players to start with, too, especially if Hayes is ready to step into a bigger role.

Northwestern might be good this season with Olah and Demps returning.
Chris Collins has nearly been .500 in his first two seasons as head coach. With all the experience they get back, maybe 8-10 B10 conference wins?
Then again, I love the depth of the B10 this season... We might see everyone beat up on each other.AAL 2023 - Alim McNeill

Yeah. We'll see if Crean can put it together too. I might be forgetting somebody, but in truth IMO it's basically Maryland and then Purdue, Michigan and Michigan State and Indiana each with questions. Michigan has a deeper roster than all of those teams, and more experience. Those teams are all bringing in an elite big. (What do you think of THAT, John Beilein?)
I'll believe Crean's ability to put it together when I see it. Thus far he's only done that once. It can go either way with Izzo when he has real talent, but in truth what matters is what he does with that elite big. But he sure has reloaded stronger than he has in a while. If Purdue gets a good year from Hammond, and Swanigan is an immediate difference-maker, then Purdue's gonna be real damn good.

I wonder why the BTN doesn't show every game. All that I have been hearing about for the past five years is how live sports programming is such solid gold that we need to seriously consider adding Houston Community College to the conference so that we can get that TV market. It's not like there's anything else of value on while Michigan is playing Elon and the BTN constantly shows shit like field hockey and soccer.
