No slam intended toward ND, but if Saban has his guys focused, there's no way that ND beats them.

Maybe Strangelove and Talent are right about Saban. We should see tonight.

But, in the 2-3 years, watch out for Brian Kelly. If ND can keep the NFL away from him, he will have the Irish right back in the MNC picture. The guy can coach.

Isn't there a long streak of the #2 team winning the BCS championship game? I seem to recall that is usually the case. Probably because the #2 team lost a game, learned from it, and adjusted.

The favorites are 7-7 in BCS title games.

But that doesn't necessarily correlate to which team is ranked #1 or #2. Alabama is a 9.5 point favorite but ND is ranked #1. I'm pretty sure the #2 ranked teams wins most of the time.

OK, I looked it up and the #2 ranked team has won 5 of the last 7 but overall it's split 7-7.
